Until further notice, all paid and SASE requests will have included a free VCD of Anime Music Videos. The actual videos included on the CD will be chosen from my collection, and will vary from one request to the next. Specifically, they will be selected more or less randomly from the portion of my AMV collection which resides on my hard drive at any given time. I won't be taking requests for specific videos, since I don't have time to hunt down 10+ videos every time someone makes a request. I will however, upon request, exclude any videos which I would deem inappropriate for children.
The rules are fairly simple and straightforward, or at least I think so. Please
follow these rules or your request will be ignored.
1. Email me with the titles you wish to request.
2. Request as many tapes as you like, however, do not request again until you have recieved your previous request.
3. I will respond to your email, either approving your request, or letting you know why it was not approved.
4. If your request is approved, I will include info on where to send your payment.
5. With your mailed request you need to include - Your return address, cash (at your own risk) or a money order for an ammount sufficient to cover the cost of your request, and the list of titles you are requesting.
6. Mail your request within 1 week of recieving your approval.
I can do SASE requests in limited quantity. I will only do SASE to a return address inside the United States. The rules for SASE are -
1. Email me with the titles you wish to request, and the brand/grade of tapes you will be sending.
2. I will only accept new blank tapes of a comprable grade to the tapes I use, or higher.
3. Request up to 3 tapes at a time. Do not request again until you have recieved your previous request.
4. I will respond to your email, either approving your request, or letting you know why it was not approved.
5. If your request is approved, I will include info on where to send your tapes.
6. When you mail your tapes, make sure they are packaged in either a bubble mailer, or bubble wrap inside the envelope.
You need to label the return envelope with your address, and affix the appropriate postage. Use stamps, not the dated postage that they print at the desk in the post office. If you are not using a new bubble mailer, include a second tyvek envelope from the post office, with your address and postage affixed to that.
I am also always open to trades. In general, if you are trading VHS, I will trade tapes 1:1, and if you are trading SVHS of 2nd generation or better, I will trade 2 VHS for 1 SVHS. Also, until I have dealt with someone enough to have established a certain degree of trust, I have a policy that the party requesting the trade sends their tapes first. Brand/grade of tapes used in trades is negotiable. Unfortunately, I do not have the capacity to copy SVHS to SVHS at this time, so I cannot trade SVHS copies of anything other than titles we have subtitled, and still have access to LD/DVD source for. I am always looking for better copies of any tape I have listed in the C range or lower on my distro list. I will usually be willing to trade for other titles as well. Also, I will sometimes trade for items other than fansubs, so if you have anything you think I might want, go ahead and make me an offer. If you are interested in making a trade, send email with an offer, or just a listing of what you have available.
If you have any questions about the above rules, send us email!
Prices are as follows -
1 tape -- $8.00
2 tapes -- $12.00
3 tapes -- $15.50
4 tapes -- $19.00
Add $4.50 for each additional tape beyond 4.
If you want Delivery Confirmation, add $.50 to the price listed.
I can ship internationally as well, but I can only accept US funds. For Canadian orders, the
prices are as follows for airmail -
1 tape -- $9.50
2 tapes -- $13.50
3 tapes -- $17.50
Contact me for prices on larger requests, or to ship to other countries.
The tapes I use will be either Fuji PRO, TDK EHG, or TDK VIVID, depending on what I have
on hand at the moment. If you request something which requires a T-160 tape, the prices are the same, but the tape will be of lower quality, since high grade T-160 tapes are all but impossible to find locally, and I don't use nearly enough of them to justify ordering them bulk. If you seriously want a high grade T-160 tape, email me and I will check around, and if I can find any at all, I will let you know what brand/grade I can find, and what the extra cost would be.
Any personal checks sent to me for requests will be destroyed, and the requests ignored. I will assume that any cash or money orders sent to me without following the above rules is intended as a donation. Donations, while neither required nor requested, are always welcome, and will be used either to expand the list of titles available for distro, or to further our own subtitling efforts. All titles are offered AS-IS. I will do everything I can to ensure that the tapes you recieve are as close to the quality of my tapes as possible, but please be aware that not all of my tapes are of as high a quality as I could wish for, and some degradation will probobly occur in the copying process. If you have a question as to the quality of a particular tape which I have not yet graded, ask, and I will check the tape and give you my honest opinion of the quality of my copy. The grading system I use is as follows -
A - Excelent quality. Picture is clear, with no color bleeding. Audio is clearly audible.
B - Fair quality. Maybe some color bleeding or other video problems, but subtitles are easily readable. Audio track may have minor static or hiss.
C - Poor quality. Major color bleeding or static. Subtitles may be dificult to read in places, but are mostly readable. Audio may have major static or hiss, but is still mostly understandable.
D - Horrible quality. Subtitles are dificult to read in most parts. The audio track may be dificult to hear through the static.
F - Unwatchable. It may be dificult to even tell what the picture is supposed to be in most parts, and the audio track is probobly mostly inaudible.
+/- indicates a title that is particularly good or bad for it's grade, but not enough so to push it into the next grade.
I generally don't distribute tapes where my copy is below a C letter grade. And I wouldn't reccomend requesting anything in the C range unless you are desperate and can't find it anywhere else, or just don't care about quality.
If you see a title on my list which has been commercially lisenced in the USA, please let me know. I try to keep up with what has been lisenced, but sometimes something slips through. If you are informing me of a commercial title, please include the company that has picked it up in your email, so that I can attempt to verify that the title has in fact been lisenced. Thanks.
